Travel Fellowships are available for young biochemists and molecular biologists to participate in regular annual FAOBMB Conferences. The next such Conference at which FAOBMB Travel Fellowships are awarded will be the 26th FAOBMB Conference (ConBio2017) to be held in Kobe, Japan, during 6-9 December, 2017.
Applications for these fellowships are now invited from well qualified Graduate students/postdoctoral fellows/early career Biochemists and/or Molecular Biologists, from the FAOBMB region and not more than 40 years of age at the date of the application deadline (31 July 2017).

Successful applicants for these Fellowships in 2017 will each be given the opportunity to give an oral presentation on their research work in a session of the 26th FAOBMB Conference to be held in Kobe in December 2017.
Those applicants who do not receive a Fellowship will still be considered for a presentation during the conference.
FAOBMB Travel Fellows will be allowed to complete the abstract submission from 20 – 31 August 2017. Applicants will be informed if their fellowship application is successful by 16 August 2017.
For those applicants for FAOBMB Travel Fellowships who would like to make a presentation regardless of whether they are awarded the Fellowship or not, they MUST submit their abstract through the meeting site from 3 to 18 July in order to include their abstracts in relevant poster sessions.
